Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions in Bahawalpur Medical & Dental College and Teaching Hospital, Bahawalpur.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) CRITERIA: MBBS and Master's degree in healthcare administration or relevant field with minimum 10 years of hospital operational and management experience at a senior position in at least 250 bedded tertiary care hospital.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide strategic and operational direction for hospital, including clinical services, HR, and quality management. Ensure program implementation and monitor growth aligned with goals.

Supervise daily operations, ensuring adherence to procedures and protocols for patient care and safety. Direct acquisition and growth activities. Collaborate with management for infrastructure and process development.

Translate Board's strategic directions into operational plans. Represent hospital externally. Conduct quality assessment and improvement. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Manage multiple tasks under pressure with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, maintaining personal integrity and accountability.

Must have complete understanding of Minimum Services Delivery Standards (MSDS) of Punjab Healthcare Commission and ensure compliance of all the indicators, SOPs, policies with the rules and regulations of PHC/PM&DC/UHS/ other regulatory bodies by monitoring operations and initiating changes where required.

Ability to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. High level of personal integrity and accountability.

Human Resource (HR) Manager CRITERIA: MBAMS with specialization in HR from HEC recognized University, preferably having HR certification eg. CHRP, SHRM or HRCI.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare & medical education sector (preferably in Medical College & Teaching Hospital).

Good understanding & working experience of joint commission international accreditation and ISO standards.

Comprehensive knowledge and experience regarding HR related indicators of Punjab Healthcare Commission (PIC) and standards of PM&DC, UHS and other regulatory bodies.

Must have sound knowledge of local labor laws and regulations. Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams, ability to work with people from various disciplines.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to senior management, lead HR activities: strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, development, and general HR matters. Specifically: Strategic Planning: Develop aligned strategies anticipating future needs.

Talent Acquisition: Oversee diverse recruitment ensuring efficiency. Employee Relations: Cultivate positive environment, resolve conflicts, enhance engagement.

Performance Management: Implement appraisal systems, guide development. Training and Development: Identify needs, design programs, ensure effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits: Manage administration compliantly. HR Policies and Compliance: Maintain policies, ensure ethical compliance.

Workforce Analytics: Analyze metrics, provide insights. HR Administration: Manage records, contracts, stay updated on best practices. Salary packages for the above positions will be determined according to qualification, experience and capability.
