Responsibilities :
Monitor and review contractors' schedules and provide feedback to the Project
Manager on areas of underperformance or variance against contract or baseline schedules.
Ensure that all interfaces are identified, understood and documented in the schedule and monitored.
Conduct weekly planning meetings, timely highlight the areas of concerns, bottlenecks, and deviation from the baseline schedule
Ensure project out-turn planning data and lessons learned are fed back to internal project stakeholders.
Ensure that the schedule is being followed and is an operational document.
Develop dashboard report for the projects showing planned vs. actual progress of each phase of the projects
Perform critical path analysis of the schedule and analyse the impact of delays on project completion date.
Monitor Contractor(s') schedules and review its duration and activities. Integrate contractor (s') schedule with master project schedule and ensure the alignment of schedules.
Review the projects progress and status reports submitted by contractor, evaluate progress and integrate into overall plans.
Conduct monthly progress review meetings with the Contractors.
Review the resources assigned to the project to ensure that sufficient resources are available with contractor for the timely completion of the project.
Develop benchmarks duration data for all phases of projects.

We are currently looking for Senior Planning & Control Engineer which is a head office-based position. A specialist in the field of scope decomposition, development of activity network, schedule building, baseline, schedule management, budget preparation, expense and progress analysis and reporting. Knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with an in-depth understanding of a specific area. Additionally, the jobholder will support the project management team on material procurement planning and tracking, and development of commissioning plans. Independently performs the entire range of responsibilities within the role and works using Delivery without Authority by influencing a wide range of professionals within the department and other teams both above and below in hierarchy.
