Educational Qualifications :
LLB degree or any related with at least 3 to 4 years of experience in a law
Skills :
presentation skills on legal propositions
Excellent time management skills
Ability to collaborate with clients, lawyers, and relevant departments within Unilever
Ability to meet deadlines and deal with matters of utmost confidentiality
Responsibilities:
Provide legal support & advice on ad hoc legal matters across Unilever functions as part of the legal team.
Review of marketing material and marketing campaigns.
Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, government departments).
Drafting an array of legal documents & curating responses to legal notices received from regulatory bodies.
Monitor the implementation of corporate laws and ensure compliance with legal & ethical standards.
Stay up to date with changes to legislation and landmark court judgements that directly affect the business.
Assist in streamlining processes and procedures pertaining to key risk areas.
Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures

AM Legal Function: Legal WL: 1 Location: Karachi HO. Job Purpose: As part of the legal team, the AM will be responsible for a wide range of internal & external KPIs. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with various departments, and engagements broadly revolve around regulatory compliance, engaging with external legal counsel, and corporate law practice.
Handle tasks of significance to Unilever Pakistan and the opportunity to provide legal opinions and crucial insights when required.
