Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance
- or
- related field ACCA or CA or equivalent international
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
Requirments :
Candidates should have knowledge of both provincial and federal taxes.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and its advanced functionality.
Experience with Quickbooks software
Experience with Jonas accounting software.
Knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting requirements
Responsibilities :
Work with management and staff to prepare budgets.
Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Provide guidance and support to other departments on financial matters.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain general ledger by preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries
Provide backup assistance to the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.
