Taverna Banfi Restaurant Job opportunity :
Responsibilities :
Taverna Banfi Restaurant guests. Greet and seat guests as they enter the restaurant.
Take and confirm reservations, pre-assign tables, ensure the floor configuration matches the reservation.
Assign server sections and rotate seating to ensure service quality.
Answer the phone using established phone etiquette.
Know how to place guests on hold, transfer guests correctly, and check messages.
Ensure menus for correct service period are stocked and clean.
Know the parking policy of the hotel and communicate any issues to the bell stand.
Be able to direct guests to all functions in the hotel using the daily events sheet.
Facility Management :
Monitor the cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation of the restaurant and ensure any issues are communicated as needed.
Ensure the room service trays have been collected throughout the shift.
Manage the temperature and ambiance in the dining room.
Properly report equipment maintenance needs.
Other Duties :
Perform other duties
participate in hotel management meetings
Serve on hotel committees
complete projects as assigned.
